More on Exercise

Those who think they have not time for bodily exercise will sooner or later have to find time for illness. ~Edward Stanley

Exercise alone provides psychological and physical benefits. However, if you also adopt a strategy that engages your mind while you exercise, you can get a whole host of psychological benefits fairly quickly.

MADRID —
Police say they rescued a woman who was trapped for eight days in an elevator in her house in northeastern Spain.

Police said Friday they were alerted by relatives of the 45-year-old woman who said they had not been able to contact her for five days.

Officers on Tuesday heard the woman's cries for help as soon as they opened the door of her three-floor house, located in an isolated area on the outskirts of the coastal town of Sitges, near Barcelona.

Police said the woman, who lived alone, was distraught and suffering from dehydration. She was taken to a hospital.

Police believe the lift broke down because of an electrical problem.
